Armando’s Specialized Metabolic Training Program has been designed to deliver maximum results in a short 1 hour  workout format. After years of study, testing and analysis, Armando has compressed all three basic training functions… cardio, resistance and core strength… into one fast paced, fun and interactive circuit training workout. 

His training methods are based on the latest scientific findings. EPOC (Excessive Post Oxidative Consumption) is the technical term for metabolic training. When you do a regular workout (light to moderate) your oxygen consumption is moderate and though you burn some calories during the workout, within a few hours of stopping the workout you stop burning additional calories (EPOC trails off sharply).

On the other hand, if you do an intense circuit training workout your O2 consumption is taken up to VO2 Max and you have a much higher oxygen consumption and burn a lot more calories in a shorter amount of time. EPOC slowly trails off and could last up to 24- 37 hours after the workout. 

Which means when you do a workout with Armando on Monday, for example, all day you are still having an elevated metabolic rate and you’re losing weight and toning. It’s by far the most efficient way to increase your metabolic rate via exercise.
