Meet Nicole

I would like to introduce you to Nicole who lost 71 pounds and countless inches with Fitness and Fun’s 6 Week Tranformation Challenge and Boot Camp since starting our program in August last year!

Fitness and Fun personal trainers know that journey isn’t just about eating better and working out but it’s also about transforming your mind and once you do that anything is possible. 

What success have you had at Fitness and Fun Body Transformation Center?

I have lost a total of 71 pounds and many inches since August, when Fitness and Fun in Harbor City first opened. I regained my “I can, I will.” I found a purpose and I learned to eat for nourishment and portion control. I started with the Transformation Progam and did boot camp as well.

What was it about the Challenge Program that allowed you to have such great success?

My success was do to the amazing support from my FFTC Fitness Family with not only the Transformation program but boot camp as well. The different workouts are fun and keep my body guessing, and lots and lots of water.

What other programs have you tried in the past?

I’ve tried Weight Watchers, NutriSystems, BioFreeze, Step Classes at a local big box gym, and planet fitness. With little to zero results.

What makes the Fitness and Fun Challenge different than any other program you have tried in the past?

The accountability, coaching, individual plans, measurements, support has been the biggest success for me along with making lots of friends which helps me with accountability.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking about doing the Fitness and Fun Transformation Program?

Do it to feel better. Do not get obsessed with the scale, but how you feel! It jump starts you for the rest of your life. If you go into it just thinking you will lose the most weight or fit into that pair of pants, it may not be for you.

In other words, be happy with progress whether fast or slow, which is different for everyone. Do NOT compare yourself to others.

What are 2-3 tips for success?

Eat slowly, portion control, water, water, water, and movement, show up to Fitness and Fun often. Stick to your eating plan and you’ll lose weight! It is about 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Any final words?

Armando has created an atmosphere that is so energetic and positive in the South Bay, and everyone at Fitness and Fun is so motivating and very encouraging! It is definitely a family atmosphere and I love it!!!
